This Clinical Conference Highlights™ series provides concise, expert analysis of the latest data on emerging cereblon E3 ligase modulators (CELMoDs) for the treatment of multiple myeloma presented at leading international hematology and oncology conferences. Expert faculty review the most clinically relevant findings, discuss advances in the evolving CELMoD landscape, and examine how these data may influence current and future treatment strategies. In addition, discussions with a community hematologist/oncologist provide practical perspectives on translating emerging evidence into real-world clinical practice and their potential impact on patient care.
Target Audience
This educational series is intended to provide continuing medical education (CME)/continuing education (CE) to health care clinicians involved in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, especially multiple myeloma (MM), including medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology/oncology (hem/onc) fellows, and advanced practice providers (APPs).
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be better prepared to:
- Summarize the most recent clinical trial data on investigational therapies for MM, such as the novel CELMoD treatments, emerging from recent hematology/oncology conferences
- Discuss where novel CELMoD therapies would fit into future treatment algorithms for MM
- Describe strategies for incorporating CELMoD therapy into personalized medicine approaches in MM, based on the latest clinical data and potential future FDA-approval
