This comprehensive curriculum is designed to address any educational needs to bring pharmacists up to speed on the latest in HIV preventive care, and will provide pharmacists with the necessary clinical, management, and policy tools for implementing HIV prevention services including postexposure prophylaxis (PEP) and preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP). The curriculum is comprised of an online webcast, electronic/downloadable monograph, as well as 3 short, state primers. The webinar focuses on medication therapy management protocols, and views PrEP through a health equity lens. The comprehensive electronic/downloadable monograph has been developed in response to the expanded scope of pharmacy practice in many states and is designed to specifically support the needs of pharmacists as they seek to understand and implement guidelines and protocols for HIV PrEP and PEP provision in the pharmacy setting. The 3 short, state primers for pharmacists practicing in Nevada, Oregon, and Virginia address the state-specific board of pharmacy policies and details for these states most-recently expanding their practice scope.
