Immunotherapy for Older Adults With Metastatic cSCC

Target Audience

The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of clinicians, including those within the community settings, who are in position to improve the health care of people with cSCC, specifically dermatologists, medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists; Mohs surgeons; and advanced practice professionals treating cSCC.

Program Description

This Phone-a-Friend™ activity module features an oncology nurse practitioner and a medical oncologist with expertise in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) as they discuss their strategies to determine whether patients who are elderly may be appropriate candidates for treatment with an immunotherapy. 

Educational Objectives 

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

1. Integrate the latest evidence on the efficacy and safety of immune checkpoint inhibition into the selection of treatment for patients with advanced cSCC
2. Engage in multidisciplinary discussions for improved outcomes in patients with cSCC 

Physician Accreditation Statement
